Cover Story

It’s been a long haul but our PawPawty Cookbook is almost ready for the final proofing! If you haven’t sent in your recipe, there is still a couple of days to get it in! Always on the lookout for yummy noms! Please be sure to send us a pic or two so we can see all of our happy faces!

The only part of the cookbook that is not ready is the cover! Mom just can’t decide….(her brain’s been a little overworked lately) !!! She really needs your help on this. What do y’all think? Personally, I’d like to see an edible cover, peanut butter flavor, but Mom says that is out of the question! So please leave a comment or drop us a line at Catsndogsdiva@gmail.com and let us know what you think the cover should look like!

Taste Testing!

Taste testing is in full swing and the time has come to make a final appeal to all my anipal friends! We only have about another month to collect recipes for our Pawpawty Cookbook! So if you are one of the ones that have been putting it off, now is the time! We also need some 'reviews' and 'testers'! If you would like to try a recipe that is not on the blog, please email Catsndogsdiva@gmail.com and let us know what you like, we’ll send you a different one! The recipes are all pretty fast and easy and don't require a lot of special ingredients, so urge your human to give one a try! Be sure to take your picture enjoying the results so you can be included in our book. This will make a great Holiday gift!

Even @CheshireK's Karma and Reggie tried out a recipe posted here on the blog! Cat Salad was on the menu and taste aside, the food was even fun to play with and piqued their ever present curiosity!

A big, big 'thanks' to all who have sent in recipes and photos! We look forward to hearing from the rest of you in the coming weeks. This project is going to be well worth the effort! Each month the proceeds will go to the Pawpawty Charity of the month and our shelter and rescue pals will thank you! Let us hear from you at Catsndogsdiva@gmail.com .

The Ball's in Your Court!

The ball’s in your court pals! Time to get things rolling. The Pawpawty Cookbook is in high gear! We need all dogs, cats, guinea pigs, teddy bears, frogs, ferrets, birds, rodents and any other persuasions we call anipals and all friends of anipals to help us put this together.

We are looking forward to hearing from all of you who want to participate in this great venture to benefit animal charities everywhere. All proceeds from this venture will be added monthly to the selected Pawpawty charity. We hope to have an ebook version available very soon and the hard copy ready for the next holiday season. We would encourage everyone to help out by sending us a recipe for a nommy treat your humans fix for you. It doesn’t need to be fancy, just something that really sets the tail wagging or the whiskers licked! You can also participate by trying one of our recipes and sending us your thoughts, comments and reviews. We need to have pictures of all you anipals to include too! I’m hoping that some of our anipals that have crossed the Rainbow Bridge can send us a recipe and photo too. The banquets there sound like a real dream come true!

My humans have been a bit under the weather lately and I know the bugs of the season are making their rounds. Time is precious, this is a busy time of year for many, but please take a few minutes to send your contribution to the Pawpawty Cookbook so we can start looking seriously at the details of editing and publishing. It’s a long process! Send human recipes to Smokeypoodle@gmail.com and the animal recipes to Catsndogsdiva@gmail.com
