Help us get to the finish line!

Time to stop playing around, it’s crunch time! We really need your help if this is to be a great fundraiser for friends of animals everywhere! I hope all my anipals will send me their favorite recipes for our Pawpawty cookbook. It’s may seem like a small contribution, but together they will help make this a success. It’s so great that all us anipals can pull together and all our small contributions can add up!

The human & animal ebook version is set for this spring.. (very close!). Send your human recipes to & your anipal recipes to We hope to start getting a hardback version of the Pawpawty Cookbook all set up this summer with lots of photos of you guys enjoying your favorite treats! Your comments and opinions will help us decide which recipes are worthy of the title of Anipal Favorites! Finicky Feline Fish

8-ounce can of tuna in oil, drained
2-ounces cooked skinless boneless fish
1 carrot, cooked and mashed
1 large egg, beaten
2 tablespoons shredded cheese
2 tablespoons oatmeal
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 teaspoons active dry yeast
½ teaspoon dried catnip

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees, and grease a cookie sheet. Mix together all of the ingredients, and roll the mixture into small balls or cut into fish shapes. Place the balls approximately one inch apart, and bake them for 15 minutes or until they are lightly browned. Allow treats to cool completely. Store them in an airtight container.

Peanut Butter Treats

2 cups brown rice flour
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1 cup natural peanut butter
1 cup low-fat milk

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a bowl, combine flour and baking powder. In another bowl, mix peanut butter and milk. Add wet mixture to dry, and mix well.

Turn out dough on a lightly floured surface and knead. Roll out to 1/4-inch thickness and cut out shapes. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake 20 minutes or until lightly brown. Cool on a rack and store in an airtight container.
